Welcome to BlurpQR.com (“BlurpQR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our website, tools, or services (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use BlurpQR.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including visitors, registered users, and anyone accessing BlurpQR through Google Authentication.

1. Business Ownership & Related Services

BlurpQR.com is owned and operated by the same business entity/LLC that operates:

  • BlurpDevices.com – Custom NFC devices, review stands, and digital accessories
  • BlurpLinks.com – Micro-page/biolink platform for digital identity and sharing

All three platforms operate under the same legal entity, share the same service philosophy, and work together to deliver a unified digital toolset. By using BlurpQR, you acknowledge that this Service is part of the Blurp Devices family of products.

Each service may have its own additional policies, but they all fall under the same corporate structure.

2. Use of the Service

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use BlurpQR. If you use Google Authentication, you must also comply with Google’s terms.

2.2 Account Registration

Users may log in using Google Sign-In. We only access basic profile information (name, email, profile image) needed for authentication.

You are responsible for keeping your account secure.

3. Content Generated by Users

BlurpQR allows users to generate QR codes containing any type of content, including text, URLs, contact cards, images, and more.

3.1 Prohibited Content

You may NOT use BlurpQR to create, upload, store, or distribute:

  • Illegal content
  • Hate speech or harassment
  • Adult or sexually explicit materials
  • Malware, phishing, or harmful URLs
  • Copyrighted content without permission
  • Anything that violates laws or regulations

BlurpQR reserves the right to remove or disable any QR code or content that violates these rules.

3.2 Reporting Violations

Flagged content will be reviewed and removed if necessary.

4. Data, Storage & Deletion

4.1 Storage of QR Code History

BlurpQR stores your QR code history so you can manage, edit, update, and reuse generated content later.

4.2 Account and Data Deletion

You may delete your QR codes or your entire account at any time. Account deletion removes user data unless retention is required for legal compliance.

5. Payment & Future Paid Plans

BlurpQR currently provides free features, but premium tools, advanced customization, and subscription plans may be offered in the future.

Payment terms, billing cycles, and refund policies will be introduced separately when paid options become available.

6. Acceptable Use Restrictions

You agree NOT to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or scrape BlurpQR
  • Attempt to bypass security or authentication systems
  • Use automated bots or crawlers without permission
  • Interfere with performance, uptime, or data
  • Use the Service in a way that harms BlurpQR, Blurp Devices, or Blurp Links systems

7. Intellectual Property

All branding, platform technology, website design, logos, and system code belong to the Blurp Devices LLC entity.

You retain full rights to the content you upload, create, or generate through BlurpQR.

By using BlurpQR, you grant us a non-exclusive license to host and display your content solely to provide the Service.

We do not claim ownership over your QR content.

8. Google Authentication Compliance

BlurpQR follows all Google OAuth and API Services User Data Policy requirements.

  • We only access your basic profile information
  • No emails, Google Drive, contacts, or sensitive Google data are accessed
  • Google user data is not shared with third parties

Your Google login is used strictly for authentication.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or permanently available. Use of BlurpQR is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • BlurpQR and its related services are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • We are not responsible for loss of data, service interruption, or business disruption
  • Our maximum liability is limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (if any), or (b) $25 USD

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account:

  • If you violate these Terms
  • If your activity poses risk to the Service
  • If required by law

Upon termination, user data may be deleted as allowed or required by law.

12. Updates to These Terms

Terms may be modified at any time. A new “Last Updated” date will appear when changes are posted. Continued use of BlurpQR means you accept any updates.
